Jackson Hole Scientific Investigations is a firm specializing in traffic accident reconstruction and consulting in the field of ballistic science.

John Daily, the primary consultant and president of JHSI, retired from the Teton County Sheriff's Office on July 31, 2003 after 25 years as a sworn law enforcement officer. Additionally, he has over 3200 hours of training and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. John has investigated over 1000 accidents and has written three text books in the field of traffic crash reconstruction. Upon retiring, he shares his expertise by teaching applied physics and traffic crash reconstruction for the Institute of Police Technology and Management. Jeremy Daily, works as the vice in charge ot technical services at JHSI. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University. He is working on his PhD and anticipated recieving that degree in June of 2006. Currently, Jeremy works as a research engineer at the Propulsion Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Advances in automotive technology gives JHSI the ablity to extract the event data stored in the air bag modules in late model GM and Ford vehicles. The technology is constantly being updated so a complete listing of download capable vehicles is available from the Vetronix Corporation, makers of the Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) system.

JHSI now can analyze photographs with the PhotoModeler Pro Software.
